A harmonious blend of emblems from all seasons, but in autumnal colours cover this kimono:  you will find ‘ume’ and 'sakura' blossoms from springtime and ‘momiji’, maple leaves from autumn. Other motifs include ‘matsu’, the pine, a hardy plant that symbolises strength and long life, ‘kiku' the chrysanthemum and the flower of the Imperial House of Japan, 'tsubaki' the camellia flower, famous for flowering in the early winter, and 'obtain' peonies, the king of flowers. The repeating of 'kikkuo' hexagons and 'shippou' interlocking circles are also found here.

'Tsuyushiba' crescent shapes, are woven into the silk fabric, and creates added texture. These motifs symbolise dew drops on grass so are most often found on summer kimono. Some elements are highlighted with a pearlised finish, which adds lustre.
